Embarcadero misses the Feb 1st, 2015 deadline for 64bit iOS apps

Despite what promised, Embarcadero wasn't able to meet the February 1st, 2015 deadline for 64 bit iOS apps. Not a surprise. Just another warning Embarcadero is trying to do too much with too little, and aligning someone else deadlines and releases with your own is difficult and usually not worth the effort.

If you didn't finish in time your new iOS app, you won't be able to submit it until Embarcadero releases the compiler later this year. In a a not so common type of post, they asked for beta testers - thereby the compiler (and everything else needed) just reached this stage, and their usual invited beta testers are not enough to test it before release without taking a great risk.

Just, will it be part of an updated to XE7, or is Emb planning to ask you to upgrade to XE8 or whatever?
